Health and real connection.
Hi Padel started with a simple belief: sport should bring people together, not just keep them fit. Padel is social, easy to pick up and genuinely inclusive, and can be enjoyed by all ages. At a time when so much of life has moved online, we see a sport built for connection. That’s the feeling we wanted to build a business around.
The gap we saw
Closing the resource gap in schools.
We have lived and breathed schools for over 10 years and understand the challenges of delivering for young people. When school budgets are stretched, sports infrastructure is often the first thing to be deprioritised. We built a model that funds and builds the courts at no capital cost to the school, so pupils get access to this fantastic sport, and the school gains an in-demand facility, and a share of the revenue, without taking on any of the risk.

From two worlds to one court

A decade advising Heads and Governors taught Michael what schools are up against: more pressure, less funding.
Business
Twenty years building companies taught Joe the same lesson differently: enthusiasm isn't enough - the strategy and numbers have to work.
Madrid, 2001
Joe plays padel for the first time. Not a business idea yet. Just a sport he loves.
The insight
